Former CRADLE OF FILTH Bassist Issues SIXSIXSIX RECORDS Update

July 26, 2005

Former CRADLE OF FILTH/ANATHEMA bassist Dave Pybus has issued the following update on the activities of his new record label, SixSixSix Records:

"All very busy here at SixSixSix. Good news is... September/October sees our records in U.K. stores via a new deal with RSK Entertainment (BMG). (SixSixSix currently are distrubuted in the USA by The End Records). New exciting things happening with the label. We just launched via our website a 12-band compilation 'Radio Player' (we call it that because it opens in a seperate window and can be left on to listen to while other browsing on the Net goes on). This is great for new unsigned bands in the underground. Many more to be added! This is a maverick idea by the new label to help unsigned bands join forces to help promote METAL!" The compilation so far features the following artists:

DRACONIAN ORDER (Italy)
BLOODY MARY (Italy)
DORETERNA (UK)
KORVUS (UK)
THE FACES OF SARAH (UK)
THE ADMIRIADE (Germany)
AMIDST THE WITHERING (USA)
GATES OF ENOCH (USA)
DARKENING (UK)
EVANGILI (Sweden)
OF FORSAKEN DIVINITY (USA)
UNDERCOVER SLUT (France)

SixSixSix Records' first two releases — DRACONIAN ORDER's "In the Absence of Light" and BLOODY MARY's "Blood N' Roll" — were made available in late May.
